We are a small farm that cultivates methodicallyOrganic and Biodynamic seasonal fruit and vegetables,
we do not use pesticides or herbicides,
but let nature itself produce its fruits.
Looking out over the Kikenda world means taking a look at the past and at traditional values and at the same time projecting towards the future, discovering new tastes and flavours.
We believe that the quality of life is also and above all measured in the awareness of the products we eat and their origin.
We believe in healthy eating,
without waste and with respect for nature.

OUR PHILOSOPHY
The true farmer or rather, "the doctor of the earth" is a careful observer and connoisseur of vital processes.
He fits consciously, harmoniously and morally into their support. Because cultivating the land implies as a first rule living, observing and working according to the intrinsic wisdom of Nature. Only through a harmonious exchange with it can healthy food be produced, safeguarding the ecosystem and the earth, especially for future generations.
We are convinced that in order to practice natural agriculture it is necessary to implement a series of practices that allow us to develop the concept of greeting genesis, or rather all those processes that lead the plant to create its own self-defences. This can only be achieved if there is fertile soil rich in organic material and active biodiversity in the ecosystem at the base.

OUR MISSION
The Kikenda company specializes in the natural and biodynamic cultivation of fruit trees of ancient varieties, from a vast olive grove of various local cultivars, a small vineyard and a vegetable garden.
The importance of safeguarding and conserving biodiversity is one of the first objectives we set ourselves, to conserve a historical-cultural heritage and to try to re-evaluate the varieties, many of which are on the verge of extinction.
