We are a small farm that cultivates methodicallyOrganic and Biodynamic seasonal fruit and vegetables,
we do not use pesticides or herbicides,
but let nature itself produce its fruits.
Looking out over the Kikenda world means taking a look at the past and at traditional values and at the same time projecting towards the future, discovering new tastes and flavours.
We believe that the quality of life is also and above all measured in the awareness of the products we eat and their origin.
We believe in healthy eating,
without waste and with respect for nature.

HONEYMOON
Holistic apiary
We have chosen to create Luna di Miele because we have a dream: to let you experience the emotion of direct contact with bees. It will seem like you are entering a swarm and hearing its call and its powerful perfume. A place where you will experience the peace of nature, the warmth of a cuddle and the emotion of a wild experience. All in absolute safety. The completely eco-sustainable wooden structure incorporates beehives on its walls. What can you do during the experiences in this section? Breathe in the scents that come from the hives, listen to the delicate hum of the bees' incessant work, observe them closely. This activity is called Api-Therapy and is known in many countries for its beneficial effect on the human body.

BEE WELLNESS
Apitherapy can be considered a branch of naturopathy. The version that is proposed within our suggestive holistic apiary is made up of two parts: beehumming (buzzing) and bee-aromatherapy (inhalation of the air from the hive). Beehumming is the activity of listening to the sound given by the bees that are on the honeycomb. It is different from the buzzing of bees in flight. It is a continuous and softer sound. Engaging. It touches the deepest chords of our soul. It is one of those natural sounds recognized for their particular frequency, capable of causing a relaxing effect on the human brain. The air of bees is instead the set of volatile molecules produced inside a hive. It's hundreds of different molecules. Imagine a concentrate of smells of propolis, honey, pollen, royal jelly, wax and the body of the bees themselves. In the practice of aromatherapy there is a differentiation between the so-called "head" notes, "middle" notes and "base" notes. These respectively stimulate the brain, the core of the body and the genital organs. The hives are built into the walls of the structure so as to allow air to pass through but not insects.
